I was hired by Donate Life Northwest to produce a video for their Fundrasier Breakfast event on Nov. 3, 2015. But when tasked with a project which I really have a passion for, like documentary film and audio creation, I tend to go "all in" to create something that really knocks a client's socks off.
Such was the case with this project. Not only did I produce a video for their morning fundraiser event, I also produced a campaign of six videos and five audio pieces that feature the stories of organ donors and recipients. One of the videos was also Spanish only, in order to help raise awareness of the issue in the Hispanic community, where organ donation isn't as prevalent.

Donate Life Northwest registers and educates residents of Oregon and Southwest Washington about organ, eye and tissue donation. They also provide a supportive community for all those whose lives have been touched by donation. To learn more about them go to donatelifenw.org/
They were a great client to work with and I look forward to possibly working with them some more in the future.
Below are the videos and their accompanying audio stories. Please give them a watch/listen and then consider signing up to become and organ donor. You might just save someone's life.

Some further thoughts about this project:
I've been watching the response to posts about this project on social media. It's an interesting way to guage audiences of the various social media sites.
Becuase of the serious and personal nature of these stories, on some social site which cater to younger, more self centered audiences (youtube, instagram) the response is minimal. But on sites with a high amount of empathic users, such as Pinterest which is mostly women, these posts have been gathering a fair amount of views.
Following this response would perhaps provide insight into who the key targets are for Donate Life to seek donations and/or organ donor sign ups from.
More come as I watch the analytics.
